Gardner Group has extensive experience in a broad range of projects covering the different building type categories in the construction arena. Below is a brief listing of previous and current projects that our company are involved in.


Melbourne Park Eastern Plaza Development
This current project involves the redevelopment of Melbourne Park including an extension to the south west of the external concourse around Rod Laver Arena; major upgrade to Margaret Court Arena; a new Eastern Plaza incorporating numerous indoor and outdoor courts, gymnasium and change rooms; refurbishments to Rod Laver Arena and Hisense Arena; improved connections between Rod Laver Arena, The Oval and Hisense Arena and additional parking and a footbridge linking Melbourne Park to Melbourne Rectangular Stadium (AAMI Park).

Highpoint Shopping Centre
This current project involves the major redevelopment of the existing Centre including a 30% extension to retail space including major tenancies such as David Jones, Woolworths; improved circulation in the existing mall space; refurbishment of the existing Centre to fall in line with the new retail space and improved customer access through the car park and public transport interchange works.

AAMI Stadium
This project involved the construction of a brand new stadium to facilitate Melbourne's sporting infrastructure as a medium sized rectangular pitch. Sports tenants include A-League Melbourne Storm and Melbourne Victory along with National Rugby League Team Melbourne Storm. The Stadium also houses administration bases for Tennis Victoria, Victorian Olympic Council and the Melbourne Football Club. The Stadium includes a Gymnasium, Pool and Change Rooms for the resident sporting teams.

Chadstone Shopping Centre
We have been involved in many of the major redevelopments at Chadstone Shopping Centre with the most recent being Stage 33.  The latest developments have included the new ‘high end’ fashion mall along with the loop mall extension, the construction of new office towers and various upgrades and extensions of the carparks facilitating the Centre.

Westfield Doncaster Shopping Centre
This project involved a major redevelopment of the existing Centre along with demolition and construction works including major extensions to malls, major tenancy fitouts including Coles, Safeway, Target and Toys R Us, construction of a new Cinema complex, new Fitness First Gymnasium, carpark extension and upgrade and multiple ‘high end’ fashion tenancy fitouts and specialty stores.

Icehouse Stadium
This project involved the construction of a new Multi-Purpose Facility / Ice Sport Centre including the construction of 2 ice rinks and a Gymnasium along with Cafes and various Office tenancies.

717 Bourke Street, Docklands – New Travelodge Hotel and Office Development ($140 Million)
